Hazar and Rawan are two young girls who live in Azraq Refugee Camp. The two girls noticed that one of the most difficult challenges facing the residents of the camp is obtaining clean drinking water. At the camps, the process of collecting water is not done by delivering water directly to the places of residence, but it requires the heads of the households to collect water from specific points of water distribution inside the camp. Hazar and Rawan realized that, because of the process of transporting water from one place to another, the water that reaches the homes becomes contaminated due to dust and unclean containers. As a result of this, the two girls created a water bottle with a filter inside that removes and filters dirt and dust from the water, allowing people to have access to clean water in a cost-effective way.
