Rana and Khawla are two Syrian refugees living in Azraq camp. They have designed and produced elegant raincoats suitable for children and adults. These raincoats are available in different colors, sizes, and designs for both males and females. The idea behind designing the raincoats came about when they noticed a challenge facing camp residents every winter. Due to the lack of adequate means of transportation, residents resort to walking long distances to reach their destinations and school students face the big challenge of reaching their classes in the winter without getting wet. Rana and Khawla are very excited to launch their own brand and start designing and manufacturing coats and other pieces of clothing to sell in the camp and in the local markets in Jordan.
